Frequently Asked Questions

Kusto Query Language (KQL) is the query language used across Microsoft's security and data platforms including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Azure Monitor, and Azure Data Explorer. Learning KQL enables you to write powerful queries for threat hunting, incident investigation, and data analysis.

We offer courses at Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. Beginner courses assume no prior KQL experience but expect basic IT literacy. Check each course's prerequisites for specific requirements.

Courses that award certificates are marked with a certificate badge on the course page. Certificates are issued digitally with a unique verification code that employers can verify on our site.
